Welcome! Here you will find information about the upcoming concert with Ken Zuckerman – sarod & Swapan Chaudhuri – Tabla, which will take place on November 12, 2023 at 19.30, in the Grosser Saal of the Musik Akademie Basel. (Deutsche Version unten.)

Tickets – In order to guarantee a seat, we strongly recommend that you purchase your ticket in advance. There are several categories of tickets that you can choose from:
General and Student – These tickets can be pre-paid by November 10th or purchased at the door (Abendkasse), before the concert. We recommend that you pre-pay your tickets to make sure that you will have a place. The general tickets cost Fr. 45.- and the student price is Fr. 30.- . (Students should bring their student ID’s). The cost of tickets for children under 18 is Fr. 20.-
Students of the 38th Annual Seminar can purchase tickets for the Student rate (Fr. 30.-)
Pre-paid tickets can be picked up at the “Pre-paid” desk from 18.30. You will then be able to begin entering the concert hall at approx. 19.00. Important – please bring a printout of your bank transfer (or a copy on your phone), with you to the concert.
Students of the HSM (Hochschule für Musik), and SCB (Schola Cantorum Basiliensis), have free entry. (Student of the HSM & SCB must bring their MAB ID cards and should come to the “Abendkasse” desk early to get their tickets, as there are a limited number of free tickets available).
There are 2 easy ways to pay for your tickets:
First, you can use the IBAN CH46 0077 0042 0199 5595 7, Verein Ali Akbar, Birmannsgasse 42, 4055 Basel. (If you are living outside Switzerland, the Swift code is: BKBBCHBBXXX
Second, in your e-banking application, you can scan this QR code, which will automatically fill out the form to transfer the payment.
Important, for all pre-paid tickets:
- When paying, please indicate in the “beneficiary reference” field, how many tickets you are purchasing and in what price categories.
- Please bring a printout of your bank transfer (or a copy on your phone), with you to the concert.

Herzlich willkommen! Hier finden Sie Informationen zum Konzert, das am 12. November 2023, 19.30, im Grossen Saal der Musik Akademie Basel stattfindet. Um einen Sitzplatz zu garantieren, empfehlen wir Ihnen, Ihr Ticket im Voraus zu kaufen. Es gibt zwei Kategorien von Tickets, aus denen Sie wählen können:
Allgemein und Student – Diese Tickets können bis zum 10. November im Voraus bezahlt oder vor dem Konzert an der Abendkasse gekauft werden. Wir empfehlen Ihnen, Ihre Tickets im Voraus zu bezahlen, um sicherzustellen, dass Sie einen Platz bekommen. Die allgemeinen Tickets kosten Fr. 45.- und der Studentenpreis beträgt Fr. 30.- . (Studenten sollten ihren Studentenausweis mitbringen). Der Ticketpreis für Kinder unter 18 Jahren beträgt Fr. 20.-. Wichtig: Bitte bringen Sie einen Ausdruck Ihrer Überweisung oder eine Kopie auf Ihrem Handy mit zum Konzert.
Prepaid-Tickets können ab 18.30 Uhr am „Prepaid“-Schalter abgeholt werden. Sie können dann ab ca. 19:00 Uhr den Konzertsaal betreten.

Wichtig für alle Pre-paid Tickets:
Bitte geben Sie bei der Zahlung im Feld „Begünstigtenkennzeichen“ an, wie viele Tickets Sie kaufen und in welchen Preiskategorien.
